PaymentAn initial, non-refundable deposit will be secured at the time of booking confirmation. Accepted credit cards are Visa and MasterCard (transaction fee of 1.75% applies).
The balance will be secured directly by the supplier on your arrival.
On your collection of the vehicle, a bond equivalent of up to the excess of your vehicle may be pre-authorised against your credit card. Please ensure you have the funds available.

This booking can be paid for by either credit card or debit card. Car rental requires a credit card in the driver's name to be presented at the rental desk. This is because a deposit is required which is held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned. In some countries you may be required to present two credit cards when renting higher vehicle groups.
Always ensure that the card has sufficient credit available at the time of rental. The amount authorized is generally the insurance excess and the fuel deposit, but it varies depending upon the size of the vehicle, the age of the driver, the car rental agent, rental duration and pick up location.
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.
Cancellation Fees
In the event of cancellation, the initial deposit remains non-refundable. In addition to this, the below apply:
1. If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the car rental booking date and at least 48 hours before pick up time, no additional fees apply.
2. If the booking is cancelled outside 7 days of the car rental booking date and at least 48 hours before the pick up time, a fee of EUR25.00 will be charged to your credit card (VAT incl.)
3. If the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the pick up time, the full balance of the rental will be charged to your credit card.

Young drivers surcharge is not included in the rental price. It is paid in the local currency at the rental desk.
Minimum age of the driver is 21 years. From 21 till 24 years there is a supplement for young driver for the economic group B2 and the issue date of the driving license must be minimum 3 years before the date of renting the car.
For the groups C, D, E1, H1y H2: mínimum age of the driver is 23 years and mínimum 3 years of experience. The groups D1, E, E2, E3, F1, G2 y H3: mínimum age is 25 years and 3 years of experience, Groups G3, LX y XX: mínimum 28 years, minimum 5 years of experience and valid in the European Community.
Drivers License
Drivers must hold a full license for minimum 3 year with no major endorsements.
An International Driver’s License (IDL) is required if the renter’s national driver’s license is not in Roman alphabet (i.e. Arabic, Greek, Russian or Chinese). International driver's license must be accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver. UK license holders must present both the photocard and its paper counterpart at the time of rental.

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
The acceptance of these General Conditions means that the User:
1. Has read, understood and accepted these General Conditions.
2. Is older than 21 to 28 (depending of the group of car), with full power to rent a car and with a minimum of 3 years experience at the moment of booking.
If you disagree with any part of the General Conditions, you should not continue with the booking process.
1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
Autos Valls in no instance shall be made responsible for:
• The errors, delays in access by the user when entering your information in the reservation form, any anomaly that may arise when the inability to complete the reservation is due to problems in the Internet, causes of fortuitous or force majeure and other unforeseen contingencies external to the good faith Autos Valls. In any case, Valls Cars commits to solve the problems that may arise and provide all necessary support to the user to reach a quick and satisfactory solution of the occurrence.
• Errors or damages caused by an inefficient use of services or in bad faith by the User.
2. LAW AND ALTERATION OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS.
2.1 These General Conditions are subject to the Royal Decree 1 / 2007 of 16 November, by approving the text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, the Law 7 / 1998 of 13 April about General Terms and Conditions, the Royal Decree 1906/1999, of 17 December 1999 which regulates the Telephone and Electronic Contracting with general conditions, the Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data, Law 7 / 1996 of 15 January the Retail Trade and Law 34/2002 of 11 July, Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce.
2.2 Autos Valls reserves the right to amend these General Conditions at any time without prior notice to the User, who, in any case, is the only responsible to review them as a an essential requisite to the rent any of the vehicles available. In any case, it will be considered as valid and applicable the General Conditions that were exposed at the moment that the user rents the vehicle.
3. BOOKING SERVICE.
To complete the booking, following information will be required from the user:
• Select the backup data (location and dates of pick up and drop off).
• Select the category of vehicle to be reserved. In no event shall reserve a colour, brand or model of vehicle, only the category.
• Introduction of personal data.
• Acceptance of these Terms of Business of our company.
• Entering credit card information.
• Screen confirmation and payment of the reservation.
• A message as a confirmation of your booking will be sent by email.
The successful completion of the booking process is not a contract: The contract will be made and has to be signed by the user at the moment that the car is picked-up.
A booking only exists when the user enters the necessary data and confirms the reservation by clicking on the "Confirm and Pay". The user acknowledges that he understands that it is his responsibility to print out and check the booking confirmation, to make sure that all the details are correct. In case the user detects an error on his booking, the user must contact Autos Valls immediately to correct the booking. It is not possible to make a reservation less than two days before the date of arrival.
The confirmation or voucher must be presented upon delivery of the vehicle as proof of reservation and prepayment.
Autos Valls reserves the right to refuse the signing of the car hire contract to persons:
• Under 21/28 years old (depending of the group they booked) when booking is complete.
• Who do not have a valid driving license with minimum 3 years of experience.
• That at the time they pick-up de vehicle are in a state that could pose a danger while driving to themselves or others.
• Unable to meet payment terms or required bonds.
4. RATES
4.1 The valid rates shall be the ones available at the moment of the confirmation of the user’s booking.
4.2 The outstanding balance of the rental price and the bond (determined by the General Price List) have to be settled at the moment the user signs the contract at arrival. In any case the bond can be used to extend the rental.
4.3 The duration of the rent will be agreed in the contract, and billed based on twenty four hour periods, starting from the time that the car is booked. There is a grace period of fifty-nine (59) minutes, after which there will be an additional charge of one day.
4.4 In case the user wants to keep the vehicle for longer than is agreed in the contract, the user must obtain written permission of Autos Valls and pay the amount of the extension at the moment of signing the new contract.
5. ADDITIONAL CHARGES.
The User agrees to return the vehicle to Autos Valls on the date, time and place specified in the contract. The service will be considered as complete once the vehicle and its keys have been returned to Autos Valls.
5.1. FUEL.
The fuel consumed by the vehicle during the rental period is at the user’s account. The User must refuel the vehicle with the proper fuel type; otherwise he will be responsible for the costs incurred for relocation and / or repair of damage caused by the improper fuel use.
The User agrees to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel. Otherwise he will be billed for the difference (amount established in the general price list) plus for an additional refuel service (15,00€).
5.2. TAXES.
All reservations made by the user are subject to VAT at 18%.
5.3. ADDITIONAL DRIVER.
In Spain, the additional driver is 3,00€ (VAT included) per day.
5.4. ACCESSORIES.
Prices set forth in the General Price List.
5.5. PICK-UP & DROP-OFF AT DIFFERENT PLACE THEN INDICATED ON THE BOOKING.

5.6. MANAGEMENT FEES.
In the case of fines by management Autos Valls positions are established in the General Price List.
5.7. RETURN OF THE VEHICLE.
At the drop off of the vehicle, an employee of Autos Valls will review the vehicle and if following elements are missing, the User agrees with the following charges:
• Keys: Breaking wet total or partial loss of the same price, from 60,00€ / 80,00€ (depending of the model) plus the cost of coding if necessary (including VAT).
• Documentation of vehicle: depending model
• Reflective jacket: Under current general rate
• Triangle Security: According to current general rate (any other element that is delivered with the vehicle and the cost shall be invoiced at current general rate).
6. CHECKING THE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE.
6.1. The status of the vehicle will be reviewed by the user, together with an employee of Autos Valls, both at the time of pick-up and drop-off. If by pick-up any anomaly or defect is detected, it will be mentioned on the contract by the employee of Autos Valls.
6.2. Upon returning the car, this will again be reviewed by an operator of Autos Valls, who will identify any damage that differs from those mentioned on the contract. The cost of repair or replacement of any damage will be assumed by the user.
7. USE OF THE VEHICLE.
7.1. The User agrees to use and drive the vehicle in accordance with the basic rules of driving and circulation, and according to the specifications of use of the vehicle.
7.2. The User agrees to not use the vehicle and / or not allow it to be used in the following cases:
1. Paid transport of passengers.
2. Pushing or towing any vehicle or other object, with wheels or not.
3. Participate in competitions, official or not.
4. Driving the Vehicle under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
5. Transport of goods that infringe the law or the laws in force or illegal purposes.
6. Passenger transport in number than authorized and indicated in the Technical Inspection Card of the Vehicle.
7. Transport of goods by weight, quantity and / or volume than authorized in the Technical Inspection Card of the vehicle.
8. Transport of goods classified as special or hazardous by the Transport Laws in force.
7.3. Only people authorized by Autos Valls and identified in the contract can drive the vehicle.
7.4. The User commits himself to keep the vehicle locked when not in use and keep the documents inside.
7.5. The user is expressly forbidden to assign, mortgage, pledge, sell or give as guarantee the following: the vehicle, the lease, keys, documents, equipment, tools and / or accessories of the vehicle and / or any part, or treat the vehicle in a way that could cause damage to the car or to Autos Valls.
7.6 Unless express authorization from Autos Valls, taking the vehicle to the mainland or to another island is banned. Any infringement of these conditions authorizes Autos Valls to force the user to return the vehicle immediately, without any justification or compensation.
8. STATE OF THE VEHICLE.
8.1. It is expressly forbidden to vary any technical characteristic, the keys, the equipment, tools and / or accessories of the vehicle and make any modification to its exterior and / or interior. In case of violation of this article, the User shall bear the cost, duly justified, of reconditioning of the vehicle to its original state and pay an additional sum as a compensation for the immobilization of the vehicle.
8.2. The user relieves Autos Valls from any responsibility for loss or damage to objects left or transported in the vehicle by the user or any other person during the term of the contract or after the drop off of the vehicle.
9. PRICE, DEPOSIT AND EXTENSION, PAYMENTS.
9.1. The User agrees to pay to Autos Valls:
1. The amount resulting from application of General Price and the price agreed in the car-hire contract corresponding to the rent period, the insurance, the optional waivers, the optional equipment and the additional services, as wall as the applicable taxes and fees.
2. The amount corresponding to damage and/or theft suffered wholly or partly by the vehicle and which are not covered by the exemptions agreed by the user. The maximum liability of the user will be the value of the vehicle on the market.
3. The amount corresponding to fines for any violation of the applicable legislation and, in particular relating to the Highway Code, which the User may incur as well as for charges for late payment by the User and judicial and extrajudicial expenses that Autos Valls may have incurred as a result of the above. The exception being the fines of which would be responsible Autos Valls as owner and operator of the vehicle.
9.2. The payment of the mentioned amounts in the previous paragraph should be done through credit/debit card or in cash, according to the customer’s choice. Autos Valls reserves the right to request the user the amount of the deposit, with one or more credit/debit cards or in cash, as a guarantee. A deposit will be blocked in the credit/debit card until the date of return of the vehicle. Please make sure the credit/debit card has sufficient funds. Usually the blocked amount is for insurance purposes of the vehicle and fuel deposits, in both cases depending of the category of the vehicle and the driver’s age. In case of not presenting a valid credit/debit card of with insufficient funds, Autos Valls may refuse to deliver the vehicle to the client/user.
10. INSURANCES.
10.1. Rental rates include the mandatory car insurance and supplemental liability with unlimited guarantees for damages against third parties arising from use and movement of the vehicle.
10.2. Such coverage shall be guaranteed and is assumed by the insurer who Autos Valls has subscribed the corresponding insurance policy.
10.3 By signing the contract, the user adheres as policyholder to the above mentioned policy. He will find a copy of the policy at Autos Valls’ central office.
10.4. This policy does not cover damage, loss or any other harm suffered in the luggage, goods or articles carried in the vehicle. It neither covers the loss of the vehicle, the damages caused by theft of vandalism and/or traffic accident or the damages on the underneath of the vehicle.
11. OPTIONAL INSURANCES.
PAI (Personal Accident Insurance). The PAI is a personal injury insurance and health care that covers medical expenses incurred in an accident and guarantees compensation for death or permanent disability. It does not include the theft of personal items.
12. OPTIONAL EXEMPTIONS.
12.1. CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): Optional insurance that partially exempts the user from liability of damage caused to the vehicle in case of accident.
1. The CDW is an optional service provided directly by Autos Valls that partially exempts the user, through its recruitment, of financial responsibility only for damage to vehicles caused in the traffic accident, excluding those caused by vandalism.
2. The no recruitment of CDW implies financial responsibility for the User for damage caused to the vehicle, plus expenses and costs related to such damages, as transport costs and / or towed vehicle damages and loss of earnings up to a maximum of according to market value of the vehicle.
3. In accordance with the provisions of this paragraph, the CDW only covers damage caused to the vehicle in a traffic accident, if the user properly completes the accident report, where must be clearly described the details of the vehicles and drivers involved in the accident and the conditions and circumstances in which it occurred.
12.2. TP (Theft Protection)
1. TP is an optional service provided directly by Autos Valls that exempt the User, when contracted, of financial responsibility for total or partial theft of the vehicle.
2. For partial theft means the theft of any of the elements or components, documents, parts, tools and accessories and any additional accessories that User may have hired from Autos Valls.
3. The recruitment of TP implies no financial responsibility for the User for any damages and / or losses by total or partial theft of the vehicle and compensation for the immobilization of it.
4. The TP is only applicable if the user delivers the vehicle’s keys (the ones that were given at the moment of the formalizations of the rental agreement) to Autos Valls without any handling and the original incident report presented to the corresponding authorities.
12.3. CDW and TP Requirements:
1. The General Price List establishes that the user is responsible for a minimum charge (excess) for damages or loss caused to the vehicle and which is not covered by CDW and the TP.
2. CDW does not cover in any case the damage to the underside of the car, the windows or on wheels and tires on the vehicle are caused in the following circumstances: by driving the car overloaded or by places such as beaches, inappropriate roads, forest, unpaved roads and so on. Neither when it is produced by shocks against rocks or other objects and bumps found on the road, by blows to curb against edges while parking, due to reckless driving or by any other way that would arise from the user’s bad faith.
3. The coverage of the CDW and TP are not applicable if the user does not respect all the conditions specified in the “vehicle use” clause of the General Conditions.
4. The coverage of the CDW and TP are not applicable if the repair cost of the damages or partial theft is inferior or equal to the exemption established in the General Price List for each category. In this case the cost, which would equal as a maximum the waiver’s cost, will always be provided by the user.
5. The coverage of the CDW and TP are not applicable if the User does not deliver to Autos Valls the corresponding document (complaint and / or accident report) dully completed within a term of maximum forty-eight hours (48) (except in cases of force majeure) from the date of the incident.
6. In accordance with the provisions of the General Conditions, if the user does not contract the CDW and the TP, he will be responsible for paying all the repairs to be carried out on the vehicle, as well as compensation for its immobilization.
7. The rental fees cover the vehicle’s losses and damages in case of spontaneous fire in the same, but not if it happens as a consequence of a traffic accident or a partial or total theft, or acts of vandalism, or driving without respecting the vehicle’s specifications of use; in these cases, the article which provides for payments will be applied.
12.4. FW (Franchise Waiver)
1. The FW is an optional service provided directly by Autos Valls, if contracted, exempts the user from the payment of the minimum amount of which he would be responsible for (franchise) in case of damages and/or losses caused to the vehicle. The amount of the exemption is established in the General Price List.
2. If the CDW and / or TP are not hired or the requirements specified in clause 12.3, the FW is not applied.
13. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR.
13.1. The mechanical wear through normal use of the vehicle is assumed by Autos Valls.
13.2. The user should periodically check and replace if necessary the engine fluid levels every 1.000 (thousand) kilometres travelled. The amount of fluid replacement will be borne by Autos Valls, on presentation of invoice.
13.3. User is not authorized to order repairs to the vehicle without written permission of Autos Valls.
14. CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS.
In the event of cancellation, the initial deposit remains non-refundable. In addition to this, the below apply:
1. If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the car rental booking date and at least 48 hours before pick up time, no additional fees apply.

15. COMPETENT LAW AND JURISDICTION.
15.1 The General Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.
15.2 The matters arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions between you and Autos Valls are within the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals established.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
